Interviu: Robots in Disguise
Robots in Disguise (Dee Plume si Sue Denim) vor canta pe 13 noiembrie in Club Fabrica in cadrul evenimentului Underlondon 5.
Varianta originala in engleza a interviului se gaseste mai jos (for the English version, see below)
Asculta The Sex Has Made Me Stupid:
Ne-am cunoscut in Liverpool la facultate.
V-au influentat in vreun fel aceste trupe?
Da, in mod categoric aceste trupe ne-au inspirat foarte mult.

Rock pizdos. HA HA. Ok, electro punk funk dance rock - cum ti se pare?
Nu as vrea sa citesc decat recenzii bune!
Asculta Arguments:
(ENGLISH VERSION)
How did you two get together and start playing? And how did you come up with the name of your band?
We met in Liverpool at University. We both had guitars under our bed. We decided to use them! We had a song called Transformer, and took the band name from the jingle for Transformers - "TRANSFORMERS, ROBOTS IN DISGUISE"
Some people compare you to bands like Peaches, Chicks on Speed or Le Tigre, at least when they listen to your music for the first time. Did those bands influenced you in any way? What do you enjoy listening to? Which music artists would you quote as your influences?
Yes these bands are definetely very inspiring to us. I like to listen to all sorts of music, from British folk music to 80s electro rave like Anne Clark. I'm currently listening to Patrick Wolf's first album all over again, I love Kate Bush, Leonard Cohen, Joni Mitchell, Yo Majesty...

Many reviewers refer to you as to a band of two feminists. Do you see yourself this way or is it just a misperception?
We are now a 3 piece band. So make that 3 feminists!
Your name is associated with electro-punk by all the critics, but I think it's more to it. And anyway I think that artists describe their musical intentions better than critics; how would you describe your music? And how do you relate to music criticism?
Cunt rock. HA HA. Ok, electro punk funk dance rock - how's that?
I only want to read good reviews! But I read them all anyway. Generally I find music journalists are pretty insecure people - even good reviews can be laced with negative comments - occasionally a music journalist is just out and out positive and that is brilliant!
